Donate Indian clothes.
Hi Friends,
For many days i was thinking of writing about this organisation, and as usual i kept on postponing it.
Few months back i was searching for a place to donate all my Indian clothes, which are old , but rarely used. They were as good as new hence i wanted to donate them to people who are in need.
First i thought of carrying them to India when i go there, but there is risk in it. Its a additional luggage and i may not find time to disturbute them to needy. may endup giving to servants and their relatives. To avoid this i was looking for a really good organisation that can help the needy.
I found this website. you may be thinking, Its easy to recommed but do i have idea whether it worth it or not.
Before recommending I personally went there twice and gave my clothes there. If you check the website you will know they are trustworthy.
Even today iam planning to go.
so if you all are also having clothes, which you want to get rid for good purpose.
please join me.
this is the website and address of the organisation.

keeping leftovers
Other day i was checking out my fridge. i was suprised to see the number of leftouts in my place. I usually throw out leftouts which are longer then oneday.
Today after seeing the number i was in dilema whether to throw them or keep them. I started searching in Internet. Most of them were saying that it is safe for weeks. But i was wondering whether they are true or not.
Here are the facts which are told by Mary Weaver, with retail food safety for NSF International, about leftovers.
http://www.wtopnews.com/?nid=106&sid=913740&sidelines=1
Left overs are common in everyones house. We always feel it is safe to reheat the leftover food and have it. but did you ever thought how long can it be safe.
we trust our eyes and nose most of the time when it comes to leftovers but did you ever realise that eyes and nose are the determining factors which decide food posioning.

Never put laptop in your lap
Hi friends
bit suprised reading the title.
I know most of you want to argue that laptop is for lap, so there is no danger in keeping it in lap.
If you are using laptop for a longer period it will get hot and there is danger of burn.
you may feel little warm first day, but as time passes it will have effect on your skin.
Here is something i got from net Regarding Mac laptops
We've heard the stories about overheating MacBook Pros, and have even heard that Apple has quietly updated the line's firmware to resolve the problem. However, the company apparently still doesn't want to take any chances on users getting a little overheated while using the new MacBooks, so they've included a warning in the computer's manual (which also appears in the manual for the MBP), advising customers not to use their laptops on their laps: "Do not leave the bottom of your MacBook Pro in contact with your lap or any surface of your body for extended periods. Prolonged contact with your body could cause discomfort and potentially a burn" Apple's solution to this is to recommend that customers put the computer on a desk or other flat surface.
